Our wedding design process
Step 1: Initial Enquiry
Your journey with us will begin with an enquiry form that tells us a bit about when and where you are getting married, along with your ideas for the types of flowers, arrangements, and aesthetic you’ve been dreaming about.
If we are available for your wedding date, Amelia will then return an initial design proposal to give you a sense of what we could create within your chosen budget. This will include a moodboard, some floral design sketches, and an idea of possible arrangements, installations, and costs.
Step 2: Consultation
If this proposal sets your heart singing, we will then send an invoice for a non-refundable deposit of £350. Once paid, this deposit confirms your Foxglove Finch booking, secures your wedding date, and Amelia will then arrange your first detailed consultation call to begin perfecting your final proposal together.
You’ll discuss your wedding plans in detail - from colour schemes and themes, to venue access and logistics. Amelia will work closely with you to understand your vision and talk through all the different options we could explore. We really encourage you to be as creative as you’d like, so let your imagination run wild! One of Amelia’s favourite parts of being a floral designer is getting to create something truly bespoke for each of her gorgeous couples, something crafted with love and care just for them.
Step 4: Your Wedding Day
We will work hard to ensure every arrangement and installation is in place and looking perfect behind the scenes. Amelia will then hand deliver your bridal bouquet along with any accompanying bridal party bouquets or buttonholes ready for you to walk down the aisle and finally see the florals you’ve been dreaming of (as well as the love of your life, of course)!
Step 3: Final Proposal
After your consultation call, Amelia will work on your final refined proposal to ensure every bloom, stem, and wisp is planned to create absolute heaven on your wedding day. It may be necessary at this stage to arrange a site visit to your venue for Amelia to fully understand the space and double check any installation limitations or required mechanics we may need.
We will also be on hand to make as many amendments as needed up until 6 weeks from the big day, which is when your final balance will be due.
